I have seen this crappy silkscreen text issue discusses various times. Is there a fix on the horizon? Do enough user care?
The work around I do is to edit the silkscreen gerber file. It’s been tossed around on various threads here and elsewhere. Change the line from
%ADD11C,0.2032*%
to:
%ADD11C,0.1*%
I do agree with you, it should be fixed.
