Is it just me or is the component creation broken? I create a component manually, then can’t find it. I tried it numerous times with existing or new components. Here are a couple of component pages that don’t show up in search on my end:

sorry about this, there was a server restart that stopped indexing component changes.
It is back up and running so you should be able to find your components.

I tried to create a component manually, including footprint. Finally managed to get everything done, saved and I was taken to a review page, which showed the symbol and footprint as well as the pin assignments, details etc. This was as far as it goes, the component is not available in the components library, or my personal library… I have been through this process three times now and it is extremely frustrating and I am unable to progress any further with my design because of this. Is there any solution or work around for this issue?

I’m sorry you’re running into issues with components not appearing in your library. That is very frustrating.
I’ve taken a look through the recent logs and I don’t see any obvious indexing issues. Do you have a link to the component or do you remember the manufacturer and part number? If not I can look through recent component creations and try to find the components you created there.
