I’m trying to export a project to Gerbers: af912af4549a295b
This project is a fork from: 2e38c5c3047df037, with a few changes.
The original 2e38c5c3047df037 can export to Gerbers. But the new project fails.
I get an error and email with these contents:
Hey Fen!The Gerber file for design VindorR58 encountered an error during the export process. The engineering team has been notified and the error will be looked into shortly.
In addition (in case this is a clue), there is a strange “Constraint violation” on one of my traces that reads “Trace on layer Top Copper is closer than 0.13 mm to 1 Copper body on layer Top Copper”. However, the trace is fine. There is nothing anywhere near it. If I move the suspected trace (highlighted by a red outline), then the trace moves, but the red portion stays in the same place and the complaint persists.
Another clue: Taking my existing project 7e7b4a5d7a5aa1ea, I exported Gerbers and it worked. Then I created a fork (7aad4b157f4ef2dd). Without making any changes, I tried to export Gerbers and it failed.
If I remove my part 5007a93d18a25df0, then the export works. So it appears to be something with the part, but only after a project fork.
