Description - Firmware Engineer (Redwood City, California)
Product: Athletic Wearable technology
The candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation and testing of the embedded system portion of our exciting new product. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and help drive a product to market.
The ideal candidate is/has:
Self-starter with a drive to create great products
Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
Proficient in C/C++, Python
Knowledgeable of ARM/DSP architectures
Experienced with RTOS and embedded task scheduling architectures
Successfully led embedded development from architecture concept to production ready
Experienced in profiling and optimizing real-time systems
Experienced optimizing for power and resource-constrained systems
Experienced with Bluetooth LE a plus
Ability to debug beyond firmware and identify hardware issues
Ability to assist with board bring-up
Experienced with electrical test instrumentation; oscilloscope, function generator, DMM, power supply
